On shift עב

An AI agent that answers about tables, the menu and delivery

Mid-service, the phone keeps ringing: “Any tables tonight?”, “Do you have vegan dishes?”, “Do you deliver to us?”. Your agent answers from your menu and website, sends your booking link, and passes events and groups to the team.

Free, no commitment. In Hebrew, English and any language your customers speak.

The questions that stall a shift

  • The phone rings in the middle of service

At the busiest hour, the host answers about opening times and parking instead of seating people. Your agent picks up calls and WhatsApp, and the team stays with the guests.

  • Menu questions never stop

Vegan, gluten-free, kids’ options, what’s in the sauce. Your agent answers from your menu, and on allergies it always asks the guest to tell the server when ordering.

  • Event enquiries get buried

A birthday for 20 or a team dinner lands among dozens of messages. Your agent collects the date, headcount and budget, and sends it to whoever runs events in one tidy message.

What diners ask, and how your agent answers

Sample conversations from restaurants, cafés and a pizzeria. Every answer comes from the menu, the website or the team.

    Do you have vegan dishes?

Is the pad thai peanut-free? My son is allergic.

The menu says the pad thai is made with peanuts. I can’t promise any dish is allergen-free, so please tell the staff about the allergy when you order.

Works with the link you already have

Your agent doesn’t replace your booking system. It finds your reservation or ordering link on your website and sends it to guests at the right moment. It can’t see which tables are free, and never confirms a booking itself.

  • OpenTabletable bookings
  • Resytable bookings
  • SevenRoomsbookings and private dining
  • Tocktasting menus and ticketed dinners
  • Uber Eats and DoorDashdelivery
  • Ontopo and Tabitbookings and delivery in Israel

No booking system? Your agent collects the name, number, time and party size, and passes them to the team.

What your agent never does at a restaurant

  • Promise a dish is safe for an allergy

It shares what your menu says about ingredients and allergens, and always asks guests to tell the staff about an allergy when they order.

  • Confirm a table, an order or a delivery time

Only your own system can do that. It sends your link, and if there isn’t one, it collects the details for your team.

  • Invent dishes or prices

It answers only from your menu and website. Something not listed? It asks the team.

  • Pretend to be human

It says it’s an AI assistant at the start of every conversation, and on the phone that the call is recorded.

A channel for every kind of diner

  • Website chat

Chat on your website, next to the menu: dishes, hours and parking.

  • WhatsApp

WhatsApp is where people ask for a table tonight and send event enquiries.

  • Phone

Answers the phone during the rush, when nobody can pick up.

  • SMS

Your booking or menu link, straight to their phone.

Questions

Does it connect to OpenTable or Resy?

It sends guests your own link on those systems, so the booking happens there as usual. It can’t see your book and never holds tables.

What does it say about allergies?

Only what your menu and website say, and never “it’s safe”. For any allergy question, it asks the guest to tell the staff when ordering.

How does it keep up when the menu changes?

Once a week it rereads your website and learns what changed. On your management page you can also edit the information it answers from yourself, for example special holiday hours.

And events and groups?

It collects the date, headcount, type of event and budget, and sends it all to whoever runs events on WhatsApp. You set the price and confirm the date.

Does it answer on holidays?

Yes, 24/7. If you’re closed, it says when you open and shares your booking link for the next service.

Someone is asking for a table on WhatsApp right now. Who answers?

Type your restaurant’s website and see how your agent answers from your menu.

Free. No sign-up, no card.
